My Thoughts On The Election

Speaking Of Politics.......
Politics are a touchy subject to speak of because they affect everyone differently, so in this bog I am merely speaking of my personal views towards this issue. You are more than welcome to comment, I apologize if I offend anyone.
First, I don't wish to label myself as either "Democrat" or "Republican" because both parties have valid points that I agree with, and both parties have points that I disagree with. the question is (since these are the two major parties), which of the two do I agree with more, this time around? I really want to say Obama! And here's why!
1.) This country is desperately Screaming for an "extreme" political Make-Over! Recap of the last 8 years (In short): We went from Bad to Worse.
2.) The "War" in the middle east....I am not in support of this! Why does President Bush care about a country that could care less about America and doesn't even want us there in the first place? War is a business, a Big Business, that makes a lot of people A Lot of Money, and he's been using Our tax dollars to fund the war and at the same time make profits for himself and his partners. He says its about straightening out their government. No. How many other countries are in need of help, Tons! Do you see Canada, or France or England butting in the business of other nations' government practices, No. And those countries are doing Just fine. In fact, much better than we are, much better than we have been these past few years.
What we Need to do is take notes from Canada and the European Union, look at their economy, look at their political strategies, look at how Well the Euro is compared to the Dollar--thats been on the decline ever since the Bush administration. We Need to worry about us, and mind our own business, solve our Own problems. Instead of "worrying" about outside countries. You know the saying, how can you help someone else if you can't help yourself??? And You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped!!!
3.)Economic Results of the War: since the majority of our funds are essentially being taken out of the US, we are hurting! Bad!! And we are making up for it how? With higher gas prices, higher food prices, higher everything! Arn't you people tired already? I am! I mean nothing good has come or will come of the war, just casualties, more taxes and even more countries hating the US.
4.) So many mistakes in the Bush administration, so so so many mistakes, and We are the ones paying for them.
5.) People are in need of a change in the right direction!

How will Obama Help the Situation? By taking the majority of our taxes out of the war and Into our country where these funds belong! It may not happen right away but it will happen and things just might get back to normal, like when Clinton was in office.
The Mcain platform wants to continue the focus on the war, why? For what? So we can continue on our downward spiral? Like I said before the only positives to the war are profits for the business entities involved, thats it. They talk about helping the nation back on its feet, Hello? What about This Nation, the US, the Country you are representing? What about helping Us back on Our feet? We need to be the focus of the administration, not some foreign country. The War is like taking Your money and using it to help some drug addict who doesn't want your help. Its a Waste, you're only gonna get hurt and Lose.
What happened to this Beautiful Country that People Loved being a part of? We went from being proud to being laughed at.
The other thing I must state is that most Politicians in general, are not the most honest or noblest of people. I'd like to believe what sounds good to me. But you know, you never know. Its one thing to make promises that sound good, but its quite another to keep your word. And how many times has this happened where the administration didn't deliver and took the people's focus to something else to forget about the failure that just occured or is happening, and this happens all the time, every day (with the news, the media, etc.). I am for the man that is meant to take office, and to me that looks more like Obama.
As for Mcain, I respect the man, but I think its time for him to cash in his retirement and chill. He's over 70 years old, how many 70 year olds do you know that have responsibilities of any kind? Or jobs of any kind? He needs to just sit back and enjoy life, and be with his family. Go fishing or hunting or whatever his hobbies are.
And Mrs Palin, All I can say is, I don't get it. I just don't get it. This woman (should Mcain win) has first priority to be OUR President (should Mcain win). Oh my God, let me say that again! this Woman, has First Priority to be Our President! The President! Please, let that soak in. I am sure that she is a great Governor but VP/Prez, no no no. With ALL DUE RESPECT no no no no no! You have to agree with me on this.
Ok thats it for now! Thanks for Tuning in! Comments!
